Greetings,
I'm 'bench marking' the process of cost analysis for printed circuit
board assemblies. I deal exclusively with the manufacturing costs,
ie. labor and tooling (fixtures) portion of the process, but would
like information on all aspects.
Specifically, I'd like information on the following:
- A brief description of your quotation process. What functional
groups are involved? Who is responsible to do what? Who supplies
what information to the process?
- In the analysis of labor content, what software, if any, is
utilized? How is the labor to manufacture the product developed?
- What is the cycle time of the quotation process? How much time is
allotted to complete the quote? How much time is actually required?
- Any additional information applicable to the quotation process would
be greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to contact me directly.
Regards,
Dave Hamilton
