We are planning on running cyanide-based, citrate buffered,
electroplating bath on an intermittent basis for microlelectronics
manufacturing.  I understand that there may be a problem with bacteria,
algae or other microbial contamination if the bath is left stagnant for
extended lengths of time.  Does anyone have suggestions as how to put
the bath in a "standby mode" for several weeks at a time and prevent
this from occurring?
