John,

It's a tough act. It's almost as bad as using two ply 1080, 5 core
constructions for high layer count MLB's - but, at least, you can use a
single ply of 106 with a single ply of 2113 to get better dimensional
stability and to achieve the same dielectric thickness.

If possible, could you use single ply, 2116 constructions to meet your 4
core requirement? Your would get high dimensional stability and the
inner-laminar bond (not too high but good resin content) in a balanced,
homogeneous construction.

As you are pointing out, the stuff you're trying to use is too "juicey"
and wants to "squirt" out of the press notwithstanding having little
dimensional stability after relamination. With all that movement, how
can you come close to drilling through all pad centers?
