Bev-san,

JIS C 0050 and JIS C 5012 handle the test method, and JIS C 5013 is the
spec.  They are sold by Nihon Kikaku Kyokai (FAX +81-3-3583-0462).
They are basically in accordance with IEC 68-2-47 and IEC 326-2
accordingly.  I am not confident they are sophisticated level in your
viewpoint. Also, you had better to contact EIAJ web site
(http://www.eiaj.or.jp/english/index.htm)
for the related item.
