We had some problems when we changed from IR to convection preheat sections in our wave. The LED's are sensitive to the preheat dwell time. If you have topside preheat... turn them down or off.

Has anyone experienced LED failures while running product through a wave
solder? I am having some fallout on some LED's. The component spec.
states that it can handle solder temperature of 260
