Everything is ON TRACK!

I'm sharing this response with several of the other electronic forums that IPC hosts
also.

All of our TechNet colleagues (are we techies?) are invited to meet Tuesday evening
October 27 at IPC/SMTA Electronics Assembly Expo in the Westin Hotel, Narragansett A
Ballroom.  We'll open up a no-host bar and put out some chips.  (Stephen, our
Director of Convention Services tells me that they're called "dry snacks".  This
means chips, pretzels, that type of thing.)

It's not meant to be a big affair; no speakers or anything for this one.  We're just
offering a place for all you "regulars" to stop by and meet each other in person.
Share pleasantries.  Discuss a favorite topic more completely.  Draw the pictures
that you just couldn't seem to get across in the message. No Grudge Matches!!!  Leave
the paintball guns at home--we'll be there to relax a bit at the end of a busy day.
Well, maybe we can herd the abusive advertisers and spammers into a corner and throw
wadded up copies of their brochures at them!?!  :-)

We'll put a bit more planning into this for the Long Beach Printed Circuits Expo
meeting in March.  Phil Zarrow suggested we change from "Legends of the TechNet" to
"Stump the Chumps".

Anyway, Scott,  thanks for reminding us of this gathering, and we look forward to
this meeting opportunity.  Jack

The last thread I could find reference to in the archives was Tuesday
night.
