Hi Craig,

How many solder bumps on how many PCBs?

If it's just a few (more than 50 will drive you insane) try putting a tiny
bit of paste flux down with a needle on the pad only. Then wipe off the
needle leaving a trace of flux on it. Use the needle to pick up balls from
a jar and place them one at a time on the pads. You will need a good
microscope. Then reflow the PCB. If the flux goes from pad to pad then so
will the balls.

If it is a lot then send me a personal e-mail and I'll do my sales pitch.

How large is the PCB? Is it already loaded/populated?

Hope this helps
