Dear TechNet folks,

O.K. It seems that we have concluded that there is no industry wide
requirement for components to be clean when you buy them. We also know that
many people are using a totally "no clean" process. How come it seems to be
working? Are the components always clean?

Should we ask the standards experts for a component cleanliness requirement?
Or is there one in the works?

Has anyone out there been testing components for cleanliness (before board
assembly) that is willing to share the data with the rest of us?
