IPC-A-610B is still the most current.  The task group developing Revision C has made
significant progress and the document will be circulated to the interest group as a
Official Representatives Proposal later this month.  Comments from that circulation
will be reviewed at the next meeting, changes made, and it will be presented to
industry as the Interim Final document later this year.  If all goes well, it could
be published by late spring or early summer.

In the meantime, a new Desk Reference Manual for SMT (IPC-DRM-SMT) has just been
published, and it provides some great graphics for chip, gull-lead and J-lead
components.
