The IPC will not maintain an approved suppliers list. The only tool that the IPC
provides is IPC-1730 Laminator Qualification Profile.

IPC-1730 is a document available in both hard copy and electronic format, which
enables laminators to enter and maintain data on their facility's capabilities. The
data entered into IPC-1730 can then be stored at the facility and made available when
requested by customers.

Feel free to download a copy of IPC-1730 from our web site (www.ipc.org) or contact
the IPC ordering department (847-790-5362) for information on ordering IPC-1730.

As for IPC-L-125, I know that there is a revision being worked on right now, but as
of this time, there is nothing available for review. To find out when IPC-L-125B
becomes available for review, you can check the IPC Status of Standardization
Programs on the IPC web site.

Hey TechNetters -

For those of you who procure bare boards from fabricators for stuffing & ultimate
delivery to the military, how are you handling the cancellation of Mil-S-13949?  Has
anyone already succeeded in getting their military customers to grant program
approval to use IPC4101 as the replacement specification?   What are you proposing
for Teflon boards?  IPC-L-125?  If someone has already hit on the magic words to get
customer approval, could you share your success story with me?

And to IPC,  will an approved suppliers list for IPC4101 be issued to coincide with
the Nov 30th cancellation of the QPL for 13949?  Is there a revision or replacement
for IPC-L-125 in the works for the near future?
