Eric,
I seem to remember that autoclaves work by using low pressure steam for
sterilization, to me, it doesn't sound like the kind of an evironment a PCB
would be happy in.  I guess if it was just the heat, that wouldn't be too
bad, but if it is heat and high humidity, sounds like a bad comination for
any kind of electronics assembly.

I know I don't offer much, maybe just more food for thought for other
posters.
