read all the mail in regards to thiss topic - everything sounds fine n dandy

but everything mentioned will not give a constant striiping speed - or if the
speed is constant - it cannot be - let's say - at a speed in proportion to
the
etcher n tin stripper - and how long wud it last. just spent over 18 months
working on whole process tie in - controls and effects. the actual kind of
dry
film has an effect on it also. this industry has failed in the last few years
to actually understand the complexity of it all - lot more to it than having
proper control or straight chemistry itself

It is my experience, that or a given dry film and temperature, any stripper,
where the principle source of alkalinity is Mono Ethanol Amine (meaning that
there is no Choline, or Tetramethyl Ammonium Hydroxide) the strip speed is
completely constant at a given pH. This is also the case with Choline, or
TMAH, but measuring the pH, because it is so high, is difficult. If the
stripper is stripping with Mono Ethanol Amine, the running pH will be near
10.0, and in this range, pH is a wonderful control. Control issues surface
when the preferred pH is over 12, that is when you consider conductivity.

Have a good weekend.
