Hi Ken,

Conductor Analysis Technologies has been working with OEM's to assist them
in qualifying their PCB suppliers. The objectives are to ensure current and
future suppliers have the necessary capability to meet the needs of the OEM
and to determine the best manufacturing design rules - all this backed up
with quantitative data.

We design Process Capability Panels with conductor, via, and registration
features to appraise PCB manufacturing capability and quality. We can
incorporate through-hole, blind, buried, and microvias in the via
daisy-chains and registration features as well. Our services include:

* design the panel according to your specifications
* coordinate the dissemination of the design to the PCB manufacturers that
you specify by providing password protection access on our WEB page
* provide the testing and analysis of the process capability panels
* provide a report of each individual PCB manufacturer's performance to the
OEM and the manufacturer
* summarize the results after all tests are completed.

For additional information, you may access our WEB page at
(http://biz.swcp.com/cat). The section titled "Example Supplier Comparison
Report" is an example comparison of five printed circuit board suppliers.
We have also published a paper on this subject, co-authored with 3Com,
titled "Qualification of PWB Suppliers". This paper can be found in the
"Technical Papers" section of our web page.

Subject: [TN] Design For Manufacturability(DFM) Strategy and rules

     Hi, Technetters,

We are an electronic product designer and manufacturer, and is
developing a DFM strategy and DFM design rules for higher product
manufacturability, quality, lower cost and shorter development time.
Could anyone provide me some insight, example and reference in this
     aspect?

     Thanks,

     Ken Fong
