Well, I'm no expert but think on this ...
Without putting the guy on hold or hanging up your phone,
how in Great Scott's name can you dial in a connection to
another line? My son's been trying to do it for years
whenever I've been on the phone and he hasn't succeeded.
<grin>
And follow the logic of the situation - since he's connected to
the line just as much as you're connected (he just happens to
be at the other end), HE should dial in the appropriate numbers
without you having to do a thing.
There's too many things really wrong with this story.
Too bogus ...
