Tom,
I am looking at the same things from your customers viewpoint. Looks line
we got one more variable to add to the coupon scripts.

I do not see any acceptance requirements for these lines in 6012. The line
width and spacing requirements are all done visually or using AOI. So if
you over etched the 5 mil coupons lines down to 1.5 mil, I do not see that
the line widths are ever evlauated.

Subject: [TN] FAB: IPC-2221 confusion
Date: Mon, 21 Sep 1998 08:36:44 -0400

     TechNetters,

As I received my new copy of 2221, I decide it's time to revamp my
Class 3 standard coupon. Imagine my surprise when I find it's not
"standard" anymore! Maybe I'm missing something or misinterpreting; it
appears to read that coupons must now be representative of the board,
not just for hole size and land area, but also much more detailed. The
coupon is now to include traces in the A & B sections and the holes
are to be aligned to be representative of spacing between holes as
     well?

     Anybody else read this yet?

     Regards,

     Tom Bresnan
