Need info or where to go for info on reliability between gold fingers
and pin&socket edge connectors. I really need a rough % difference of
reliability between the two. I believe there is a vast difference in
cost between the two but is the reliability a vast difference. From own
experience here I believe the difference is not that great. I guess in
enough time corrosion would become a factor and on a per pin basis
pin&socket can carry more current but adding more finger is almost free.
It has been suggested that Werner Englemeyer might be able to help if he
reads this.
Any ones help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks
Robert M. Wolfe
