Hi Tom!

Well, there's a number of them around:

Acumen Technology (408) 954-8582

Alpha Metals (Formerly Screen Manufacturing Technology) (408) 562-2033

Beam On Technology (408) 982-0161

Manufacturing Resource Corporation (408) 956-7920

I've used three of them, the only one I haven't used yet is Manufacturing
Resource Corporation...they're the new guys on the block (least around here in
the valley they are). They all will do pick-up and delivery, and all have a
bank of modems so's you can beam the gerbers over to em'...

'Course you make your mind up who you wanna use, but I'll throw my two-cents
in and tell you who I use...Beam On. They use a method of etching called band-
etch, or band-width etch, which is a method they use in which just a outline
of the aperture is actually etched instead of the whole aperture.

What that does is make the etching process much more controllable so that you
don't wind-up with the "hour-glass" from the double-sided etching inside the
apertures like standard chemical etching does...you wind-up with nice vertical
sidewalls at about 1/3 the cost of a laser stencil.

I've been working with them for over 4-years now and I've yet to get a bad
stencil from them. I've printed down to 15.7-mil pitch with their stencils,
again with a chem-etched stencil. I've never bought a laser stencil, I haven't
needed to. They do have a laser though, and only because the market around
here demanded it. There are some of their customers that ONLY want laser
stencils...they won't talk about anything else, so Beam On bought a laser...
