NO ; AS LONG AS THE BOARD IS IN STANDARD (ESD) BAG .

> 2) Can peelable resist cover gold fingers?
YES ; I FOUND IT MORE RELIABLE COVER THAN TAPE OR CLIP ON COVER .
IN YOUR UK LOCATION PROBABLY MULTICORE'S LATEX WILL DO FINE .
IF YOU HAVE FINGERS ON EDGE & IN QTY > FILL A GROOVE AND DIP (FAST) .

> 3) Can these go through the wave solder bath if covered in peelable
> resist?
YOU COULD NOT DO MUCH BETTER ; CAN INDEED .

> 4) Is there a maximum temperature that the gold fingers can be
> subjected
> to in the wave solder bath?
UNLESS YOU BOIL THE TIN ; YOU HAVE NO CHANCE OF HARMING THE LATEX DIPPED
GOLD .
IN REAL TERMS YOU SHOULD NOT BE OVER 260'C

CHECK THE FABRICATOR (BARE BOARD) TO WHAT STANDARD THEY PLATE .
THAT SHOULD CORRELATE TO WHAT STANDARD (OR PURPOSE) YOU ASSEMBLE .
