     Swen,

The best known supplier for DBC would have to be Curamik, there
main office is in Germany, and offer a range of DBC products (Tel
+49-96 45-92 22 0 for nearest office ) Within the UK I have also had
subs from both Advanced Inetreconnection Technologies (AIT) and IXYS
(the die supplier) but dont have contacts for either, sorry.

One thing I will say is that I have had problems with AlN DBC
cracking through the ceramic during thermal testing, Alumina also
does this, but the AlN fails far earlier.

                Good luck
                        Roger

Dear all,

We're going to purchase some Alumina DBC substrates as well as some AlN
DBC substrates for our project. Does someone have some information about
this? The dimension of these substrates is 2"x 2" x 0.025", both sides
coated with ~10 mil copper, Alumina and AlN dielectric layer is around
20 mil. Thanks for your attention.

wen
