Hi everyone,

I would like your expert opinions on verifying the integrity of
conformal coating.

For various reasons as part of our production procedure we are currently
cycling all our conformally coated assemblies in an Environmental
chamber to "weed out" units that are susceptible to
condensation/moisture.

I now would like to know which test would be better, or what would you
suggest?
1A) first we bring all units to -20c and let stabilize, then open the
chamber to induce condensation.

1B) bring the chamber to +40c with 98%humidity for approximately hour.
then check the units.

OR

2) Set chamber to +80C with 98% humidity, and let run for 1-2 hours.

Thank you and regards,
Brent
