Agreed. I am glad to see there are other Protel users on this list other
than myself ( limited resources financially, can not afford Mentors etc. )
and to me it seems that everyone on this list is from one company or another, just simply pasting one's company name and contact
data is not automatically only free advertisement.

I would like to hear opinions about what more "wealthy" companies experiences
of quality of services provided smaller design/consulting/prototyping subcontracts using something like Protel and some cheaper
EMC simulation packages compared to using prototype/design services using Mentor's etc. Workstation based programs.

As an M.Sc student/entrepreneur not sure of what I want to do in the
future to raise some funds to progress my own product ideas, I would
like to hear if concidering PCB prototype-design subcontracting has
any potential at all for me.

I hope that this "self-fish" message did not offend anyone, as I
am unexperienced with the PCB business world as of yet, and am neither
offering any services at this time, nor providing any contact info
for such.

I tend to concider that software world may offer better income, but
it is also possibly even more demanding. Have lost my interest in
VLSI designing over the years for some reason ...
