Chris,

We too use PADS PowerPCB ver 2.1 and have been since PADS PCB
ver.2.0.(Many moons ago)
PADS Software has a user's forum on their website that has some info
that might be of interest.  If you (or anyone else)want to contact me
offline for more info or to start our own PADS email forum please feel
free to do so.
