     Dear Technetter,

     Currently, we are experiencing capacitor crack. I like to get some
     answers about following issues:

     How do you test if the capacitor is still working or not? any specific
     equipment use, tools etc.
     If it is a cracked capacitor, how do you check if it is still ok? What
     parameters should one take into consideration when testing. Please
     advise.
