A theoretical question.. It has been my understanding that surface mount
resistors had to be mounted right-side up (white side down) to facilitate
the proper heat dissipation from the part. Is this in fact true or have I
been misinformed?
If true, how do I manage to keep them right-side up if I'm using a bulk
feeder where the part orientation is not controlled as it is on tape?
