Technetters,

I recently started with a company and they have used a burn in system for
several years that has a mother-daughter board arrangement that works inside
of steady state ovens. The daughter board is attached to the mother board by
a edge card connector. The mother board is connected to the power supply by
another edge card connector built into the back wall of the oven. We are
burning in multichip modules of varying sizes so flexibility is key to the
system. The system works good, except for that the sockets are difficult to
align and the operators often mis-align the sockets or have difficulty
aligning them. I am looking for a more user friendly system that has
flexibility and maximum part density.

My question is, do any of you have a burn in system that you just love and
want to share the plans on? Or, can you recommend any companies that
specialize in creating these systems? Any help or ideas would be much
appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any information.
