Item Subject: [TN] Optically transparent epoxy
     Mark,

Is the material used for casting on PCB board? You can try Dexter and
Pacific Technology. All these kind of material are high moisture
sensitivity and very high CTE. The mismatch of CTE among packaging
material can cause delamination and wire break. You must fully
understand the interaction of design and material properties. It is
suggested the design and material selection should guided by FEM
     analysis.

     What is your application?

Technetters,

I am looking for an optically transparent epoxies for use as a potting
compound that can withstand IR reflow. This epoxy must be very stable and not
absorb moisture. Also air bubble must be kept to a minimum. Recommendation
on manufacturers, suppliers, or specific products would be much appreciated.
Also any information on reliability of these products would be also help.

Thanks for your help,

J. Mark Elliott
