I fully agreed to what Mark and Khaled have mentioned. Although, I no longer personally hand-on the
designs, I am leading a group of layout designers and it is still important for me to continue to acquire
knowledge in this area. When I start off, there is no such things as training and I learned through trials
and errors and lots of hard works on my part by reading ! In Singapore, we do not have such great blessing
and opportunities found in States whereby you have all the experts giving workshops/seminars/tutorials that
are related to layout design.

What we have here are the annual exibitions but no such training course except for the PCB Asia'97 held
last Dec 97. I attended this and have never look back since. It is a great course even though I spent the 3
full days from 8.30am to as late as 6.30pm for the last day, attending all the tutorials, workshops,
semniars that I can squeeze my time in. From my experience, attend whatever courses available.

Regards.
