Recently Malcom Warrick I hope I spelled your name right!) has been asking
"what is halide free?", in terms of content in flux. Malcom has said that
the anaylst would consider a value less than the detection limit of the
technique to be zero. My response to that is, with my "analyst" hat on I
would tend to agree, but as a flux customer I would tend to agree more with
Karen Tellefsen's answer, which I have summarized below. (Hope I have done
it justice, Karen.) "...L0 means no (my emphasis) halide in the formula..."
while "...UP78 is REL1...because it's formula contains halide" but it is "a
Bellcore compliant paste".
