Good day TechNetters:
We have an application where we install a Kovar carrier into an aluminum
housing which is hermetically sealed. Our customer is concerned that one of
the devices mounted on the Kovar carrier is susceptible to hydrogen poisoning.
Since Kovar gives off hydrogen, there recommendation is to use a sintered
aluminum carrier as a replacement. They mentioned a sintered aluminum material
designated as A-10.
Does anyone know of this A-10 material? Or does anyone know of a source of
sintered aluminum?
Thanks in advance...
