We've not seen this exact situation, to my knowledge,
but we're on NT and our Pads folks aren't in today
(sounds like you're having a tough Saturday).

You can selectively export ascii, I'd suggest taking only
the decals and the placement, then read in your new netlist
(not through ECO).
It's been long enough since I've used the product that I
can't just rattle off the commands to do this, but I recall
it's pretty intuitive.
BTW, I'd suggest you'll have better luck with these kinds
of issues on the [log in to unmask] mail group, if
you didn't try there already.
