GOOD MORNING TO ALL ! I NEED HELP!!
WILL THE REAL FR-4 and FR-5 PLEASE STAND UP?
With the new IPC-4101 specs, how do you find the real spec sheet
number?
I am trying to relate the MIL spec to this IPC spec to 2 separate classes -
old MIL 13949/04 - FR-4 to GF and
MIL 13949/04 - FR-4 to GFG,
and old MIL 13949/05 - FR-5 to GH and/or GHG.
There are several spec sheets that reference NEMA FR-4, MIL 13949/04 with
varying glass transition temps, and resins systems. How does one decipher
this? Which resin is used for what?
Is IPC-4101/21 the base generic FR-4 (GF) spec? or is it /24, or is it
/25, or is it /26 ?
IPC-4101/23 seems obvious as the FR-5 (GH) spec., but what about GHG?
Thanks,
John
