The equation used sometimes when I do Independant work is :
Take the time you think it might take
times that by (2)
Add 1
and take it to the next higher unit
For example
You get a schematic and a mech. outline. You figure 7 hours
7 x 2 = 14 hours
14 + 1 = 15 hours
to the next higher unit (days) = 15 days
There you have it.
Just remember to bill that time ;)
