Hi all,

We are currently considering changing our process for prepping
through hole reeled components from prepping a weeks worth of
inventory to prepping the entire reel, which is about six months
worth of inventory. Will the bare copper on the end of the axial
component oxidize in a six-month period and pose a problem on
solderability of these components through the wave solder machine?
What is the normal time period for oxidation to occur on bare copper
if components are stored in air?

Thanks,
Todd
