Dear Rick:

I'm the western sales director for FeinFocus USA. I saw your posting on
TechNet and found the responses rather interesting.

BGA inspection is a common application for high resolution microfocus
X-ray systems. While missing balls and voids are easy to image, there
are many other clues to determine the integrity of a BGA connection.
For example a high magnification oblique view allows you to examine the
filet area and wetting to the pad.

I'll be happy to email some image files of various BGA applications.
Also, FeinFocus will be happy to inspect some samples at no charge.
Please feel free to send an email message or call our office.

Best regards,

Dave Lehmann
