We've been asked by one of our customers to look at what some of the
differences are between using a 0.062" and 0.093" thick PCB.

There are pros and cons to utilizing the thicker board (ie: additional
cost, higher aspect ratios, less prone to flexing during assembly or
chassis integration, more leeway in stack up to hit impedance goals, or
conversely, the potential to squeeze in another 2 or more layers to
increase functionality, etc. etc.)

The question that has come up is exactly how much stronger or less
likely to flex is an 0.093" PCB vs. the 0.062" equivalent.

If any of the laminate suppliers or anyone else out there have any data
or any study that is available I would really appreciate it if they
could provide the data to me, here or off-line. Thanking you in advance.
