Steven,
        This should not cause a problem with regard to component
failures. The way to eliminate it is to rotate the board 90 degrees (if
possible) so the teminations are presented parallel to the face of the
wave. Bulbous joints are acceptable per IPC610A Revision B (Sec 10.2.2,
Fig 10-19) as long as the solder does not extend onto the component
body.
