Thank you for the contact, SIRGuru,

I will phone the contact you gave.

I also had a discussion with a technical individual at ECI prior to your message who would not discuss instrumentation theory, capabilities, and limitations unless I purchased an instrument, and only at that time would I be "enlightened."  The fellow was not in sales.

Why would the SERA technology have a secrecy classification?  Does anyone else manufacture this equipment?   Can it do something White Tin customers ought not to know?  Can it really deliver results about solderability and impurities, and what are its detection limits and reliability?  These are questions I'll present to John Guy, as well, but perhaps the group can share more.
