Folks,

I have looked at the IPC RLP 221. The pad size is 2.4mm x 2.4mm.

After reviewing data for a SMB for International Rectifier # 10BQ040
(http://www.irf.com/), and Motorola case 403A-03
(http://www.design-net.com/cgi-bin/my-mot/moto.cgi), the lead sizes
appear to narrow for the IPC RLP 221 footprint.

I think I need a 2mm (Xref) x 2.4mm (Yref) pad. Would this be a
correct decision? Has anyone used these devices, and if so what pad
sizes or footprint do you work to?

Regards,

Colin Weber
