Richard,
I tried to send the following response to your email address directly
([log in to unmask]). However, it keeps getting rejected. I hope you
will pick this up on the TechNet.

Richard,
I work for TRI-C Design, Inc., a service bureau which specializes in flex
circuit design, panelization and data conversion. I am also interested
on the response you receive to your email.
Most of the flex circuitry we design is single and double sided. We use
a non-netlist intelligent CAD system called PRO-FLEX from Infinite
Graphics.
The design package is sufficient for most single/double sided circuits.
Although it is not netlist intelligent, it has very good geometric
construction tools. The DFM software that we use is another product from
Infinite Graphics called PAREXT.
I always keep abreast of the tools that exist for flex circuit design and
panelization and have yet to find a tool that is better than what we are
using. The only potential tool is EPD from CAD Solutions in CA. Many
people use AutoCAD. However, the entity set is not robust enough and the
resultant data is problematic because of issues such as square vs round
line ends.
Again, I am very interested in the responses you get. Could you please
forward them to me?
