I would try seeing if there is any difference between city and di water - air
exposure dwell time - immediate drying and so on. Rudy - i've read several of
your responses in the past and would have to agree with you on the most part -
but don't know about this one - 4 microns as u know well urself is 160 micro
inches - though they are different deposits ( electroless - electrolytic )
electrolytic is only plated to 100 mi - and acts as a perfect difussion
barrier - n 6 microinches of gold is quite adequate.
Don't know if they were rejected - but i have seen fabricators manufacturing
boards to 120 MI nickel and 4 - 5 MI gold.
We all get tired in this field ................. sometimes it just happens
........
