Murthy S.L.N,

ODB++ format is a format Valor came up with for their CAM software. I
believe you can get information on the format thru www.valor.com.

In laymans terms, it's a manufacturing database much like gerber,
aperture lists, netlists, test files, etc. This "database" is read into Valor
Enterprise (CAM) as a "true" representation of your layout database.
Valor can supply the scripts which will generate an ODB++ format data-
base for you. The ODB++ format is NOT proprietary, so other tools can
generate ODB++ also!

(P.S. you can download the ODB++ format from Valor's homepage. Look
to the bottom of Customer Support.)

Good luck,

Dear Mr.Jerry Cupples

I would appreciate if you can educate me on what ODB++ format is and
wherein
we can get more details on the same. We are a design house in India,
specialiing in Board layout engineering.

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely

Murthy S.L.N
