Hi Chris,

If your gold deposit is high in base metal content ( > .5%), eg cobalt or
nickel, then tarnishing will occur. Please confirm the alloy for excessive
brighteners and/or impurities. Additionally, field tarnishing may occur if
installed. Technic at 401-681-7100 for a cleaner.
