what SPAM did you see? I remember to have seen SPAM in TechNet, maybe a few
times, definitely less then 5 times in the last 10 month or so. I've seen
very little 'CALLBACK', or 'HOMEOWNERS....' messages here. Not exactly too
many to make it a problem, or?

If somebody ask i.e. 'Where can I get black G10?' - The reply is 'ISOLA'
(i.e.).

I can't see what is wrong with that. Supplier information is a part of the
production process. Not everybody knows where to get everything. Getting
information is what this forum is about.

PS: But I still agree to splitt technet into several sub groups.
'Materials' or 'sources' could be one.
