Ken,

I don't know of any CAM packages that will backannotate a layout
database change back into Allegro. And, I'm not too sure I would even try
that. The Allegro database is my "bible" database. Right?

But,,,, most any CAM package can generate the gerber files for you, and
you could import those back into Allegro, and run convert (and connect)
back into Allegro.

I do know that Valor is working to have the bi-directional capability with
Allegro, but I don't see it as a very viable option personally.  :)  I do like
the fact that I can look at the databse in Valor and have it give me the
manufacturing concerns I created with symbols, padstacks, plane fills,
etc, etc. Then, I go into the symbols or padstacks or plane fills, etc and
modify it so it isn't so much a concern. (Again, personal preference)

Good luck, and please let me know if you get info (other than Valor's) for
a "truely" bi-directional database converter.

CAM350 can not support Cadence Allegro at this time.
