Howdy Jerry,

You might want to give a call to a company named: Agris-Schoen Vision
Systems Inc. in Alexandria, Va. (703) 212-8655, and/or visit their WEB site
(www.machinevision1.com).
They're a company that's into developing vision systems for anything from
infrared/security systems to automated industrial inspection. They specialize
in integrating off-the-shelf hardware into software packages such as Optimas
XCaliper (a image capture/inspection package).

If you want them to do all the "grunt" work, you can tell them what you
want to look at and what you want to do with the image, and they'll turnkey
the whole kit and kaboodle for ya'...
