I just want to change the fab part number and revision due to change in a
fab note (surface finish). There is no electrical or any for changes for
that matter except surface finish. As this information is etched on bottom
layer, can I modify text (part #) without going to my contract layout house
using tools like CAM350/Gerbtool/Lavenir etc (I still need to buy). I might
save time and money this way.
How about pcb database? Am I able to modify using above CAM tools?
Any help in this direction will be appreciated.
