Is it pop, soda, or coke? Car, ride, or automobile?
Coffee, java, joe, or go-go juice?

Agreed, it does can be a pain trying to translate back
and forth, and learning what one person terms. But, something tells me
that the people we first came up with the ideas we put terms to, didn't
call them by the "preferred" terms either.

Your response was great and I wholeheartedly
agree with you,
(but I can't resist a short comment about your
"PB" suggestion.
                        Is anything "printed" anymore?
How 'bout just calling it a circuit board?)

                        Onward thru the fog.... Jack

You should also use the preferred term
"Printed Board (PB)" in
preferrence to the terms printed circuit
boards (PCBs) and printed
wiring boards (PWBs). The use of PCBs
is confusing, is PCB
                                "polychlorniated biphenol", a
politically correct review board, a
personal computer board, or a PB with
electrical characteristics.
