Hi!

Does anyone have experience with moisture sensitive devices on tape and
reel? I am told that I can bake parts on tape and reel at 40 C for one week
to bake out moisture and still preserve the cover tape. I'd really like to
hear from somebody that has done this in actual practice successfully. I
realize you may not know for sure that you have baked out all the mositure,
but you will know for sure if it hasn't compromised the integrity of your
cover tape! Seems hard for me to believe that moisture that has been
absorbed over a fairly long time can be baked out rather quickly by
comparison and not affect the cover tape.

Currently we order all MSD devices in trays to facilitate easier baking
when the open time has run out. We do have a couple of parts that just
don't fit nicely in trays and tubes are a major pain in our current
set-up...
