Technetters,

Would somebody check me out here. We're looking at diffusing 10 uin of copper
into a base metal of zinc. I'm not a metallurgist, but I do have access to
the CRC Handbook and a good materials text. What we've come up with is 350 C
for 10 sec. Does this sound realistic? The material makeup has a base metal
of Zn, 10 to 20 uin Cu, and 150 to 200 uin Ni.

We also looked at diffusion going the other way. That is, the Copper into the
Nickel. Not even close when you compare the numbers. Anything else I might
have missed?

Thanks in advance for your help.
