I tend to agree with Lou.  We have many schematics that are 50 pages or
more.  Using Viewlogic as our schematic tool, drawing hierarchical
schematics has not been a problem.  Backannotation has not been a
problem either.  Signal referencing from sheet to sheet has been another
story however.  Viewlogic claims to be working on that one though.
About half of our designs are not hierarchical designs, but often it
just makes sense to use them.
